The three Team 17 games that were released with copy protection are now available without it.

SICK! Well Done!!

Are the keymapped buttons shown on the title screen when the game starts? Or do we always have to backtrack to your website to find out which button does what.

We haven't thought about doing a control screen, there's not many buttons mapped since it was designed to be one-button joystick playable to begin with. You'd be able to get through the password screen by button mashing, and in the actual game there's only really pause (doesn't work all of the time), quit race (forward) and quit to menu (reverse+forward).

BMX Simulator: Non working (because it's individual files / uses OSEmu?)
North Sea Inferno: Add this to the working list JOTD I wasn't able to find any other weapons to test F1/F2/F3 but explosives (space bar) worked successfully. I can only presume Persian Gulf Inferno would work the same way.

Cool, just a thought for new releases in the future maybe? It seems the download gets stuck at 80% I've tried twice, and both times failed. I will keep trying though. Thanks again

Importing the link to my mega account seems to loop repeat from 95% back to 80%? Weird?

Earok:

I just downloaded Jaguar XJ220 and tried it on my real CD32. I thought, let's try the music player. It works. But now I have the following issue:

I did a reset of my CD32 and wanted to boot the cd again so I can play the game. But I get back in the music player instantly.

The worst thing is that if I want to run any other cd32-game I now get presented the following error:
Not a dos disk in device radboot.

I can remember having issues with RAD on my A1200 and fixed it back in the days but how do I fix this on a CD32? Turning down the power also doesn't resolve the issue.

EDIT: Never mind, somehow I had to wait a little bit longer after powering down the CD32. Now it can load other games again

I know for a fact that many of our readers don't all come from the UK, in fact the vast majority are either based in the States or Europe. So as a special treat for our German readers, and the readers of the unofficial-cd32-ports.blogspot website, Earok has announced the release of the German version of ' Tony & Friends in Kellogg's Land ' for the Amiga CD32.

I'm working on a multi-game pack of say 10 games, but i'm having trouble with the startup sequence code for the selection of games that use the directional buttons, all the other games load using the coloured and trigger and play buttons i.e

$choice eq green / forward / play etc

but for the directionals using left, right, up, down doesn't work says its invalid?

Hey mate -

Only just had a look at your PM, I'll see what I can do. When do you need it by - also would you mind if we hosted the final product on CD32.co.uk? (As a guest release of course?). Do you want the CDXL in HAM8 (better colours) or HAM6 (better framerate)? Do you prefer more frames or a larger image?

Regarding this question, what's the utility that you're using? WaitJoy (the one I include on my compilations) supports directions, but it's based on the source code for a utility that doesn't support directions.

Hi, no rush when you have time, i need to add my final selection screen and border to the final iso too.

Regarding cdxl, because theres lots of small action on screen, probably a better framerate in ham6, size wise probably around the same size as whats on the iso currently.

Not sure about the utility (edit yes its waitjoy), but the code would have been from one of your discs, but as i say its only the directionals not working, i did try and use the code from your kick off collection but as i prob need another utility it didnt work either lol What about combinations of buttons would that work i.e red and play?

No worries about you hosting it, many thanks for help too!

IK needs a 030 cpu so that wouldnt work on a CD32, not sure about Karateka, has this been reverse engineered yet?
