New member in Northern California

Hello! My name is Dan and I am a new member from Northern California. I am member of the Sacramento Amiga Computer Club. I still own and use my first Amiga which is a wonder Amiga 3000 I got in 1990. I cut my computer art teeth on Dpaint IV and later went on to work professionally as a pixel art and pixel sprite animation artist for video game companies making games mostly for Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS and the DSI.
My favorite things to do on my Amiga are Art, Animation, Music and Midi, and Games.
Thanks!
Dan

Hi Dan, and welcome to EAB!

The Sacramento Amiga Computer Club sounds very interesting. Please tell us a bit more about it.

Thanks for the welcome prowler. The SACC club has been around for a long time and they host the one of the best annual Amiga shows in the world (AMIWEST). I live 45 miles or so away from the club and I have always been busy with kids and life, but this last year I have tried to get more involved with the club. So last year I did a presentation at Amiwest on using Take2 animation software (which I got the author to release for free) for doing traditional pencil test animations on your Amiga. It was alot of fun. Can't wait for the show again this year.

Nice going!

I guess that felt like you'd really got your feet under the table.
