A500+ schematic says battery is 4.5v?

According to the 312813 schematic the battery at BT9 is 4.5v 100mAh but I've only seen 3.6v 60mAh batteries in use. Have they all been previously replaced or is the schematic incorrect?

Also, I've noticed that nearly all A500+ have D912 to R913 as shown yet mine has D912 to D912. Does anyone have any ideas why Commodore would have done it this way?

What about the 3V600k text? Three cells of NiCD are 3.6V, so they've been like this from the factory.

The nominal voltage of a NiMH or NiCd cell is 1.2V, but when they are full it is close to 1.5V... so it's sort of a matter of opinion whether to call a 3-cell battery 3.6V or 4.5V.

Data sheet for the RTC

Standby voltage is between 2 & 6V so 4.5 is fine.

System live voltage, a battery needs a higher voltage to charge.
Example: Everyone says a car/bike battery is 12v which it is when the engine is off. Measure it when running and the voltage is between 13.4 to 15v depending on the system.
4.5v is what you would get with the Amiga on and a good battery.
