Opening amiga mouse
Hey. How do I open this mouse. Buttons have stopped working. No screws.

Screws are most likely under the glide pads. Pry them up gently so they can be put back.

If you would like to try, There was a document on Aminet that described how to re-wire a regular pc mouse for use in the Amiga. I know it works because at the time, I got a pc 3 button mouse rewired and it worked. Still have it.

On a related note:
I have a tank mouse where left button only works 1 out 50 click or so, I imagine it has to be the right angle. I've opened it but can't see any obvious error. I wonder if it's fixable? Or how to trouble shoot. |

Just replace the switch with a new surface mount switch.

You can run a finger across the glide pads and the sticker while pressing down to feel where there is a small dip which is where the screw is located.
