Amiga sound cutting out on games whdload

Hi guys, I posted this question on fb and on here, but popped it in the wrong forum by accident.

Basically I need the wisdom of the wise!

I have an amiga 1200 with a 4mb trapdoor expansion inside, whdload with the early amiga skin.

When I load some games via whdload the sound dips out for a second and then comes back, for example with ik+ I can hear music and some fx but when blocking the balls with the shield you don't hear the sound of them bouncing or the deflected noise, same goes for kicking bombs.

In agony the sound goes off every 6 secs or so for a second when playing. Swiv the sound goes everytime something explodes on screen.

The last games I played was thundercats and supercars and they appear to play with no problems.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I may be able to get a video clip of what exactly happens if required.

I'm hoping it's just a setting on whd load that can be changed, it's really annoying. Any help at all is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Paul

For IK+: this is a known problem. Wepl said it's hard to fix iirc. Swiv: Do you use the latest v1.6 version of the patch?

I'm not sure if I'm honest, I don't know much about whdload I basically got it running and put the games on from my pc via dopus. How would I find out?

Cheers

The blue splashscreen at the game start shows the patch version.

There should be a readme file with all the version info included with the install also.
