I emailed you last night to enquire about a PCB and a couple of video hybrid PCB's/boards. I have found someone on Amibay to build it so it's just a matter of gathering the parts together. I was going to get the PCB from a seller on Ebay but I noticed you have boards and I'd rather go with someone reputable. No massive hurry though. Thanks.

Great, thanks for the update!
Mick: I bought a bunch of GALs and the LSI from eBay and they seem to be okay, just don't expect them to be NOS; I had to erase them all before programming (which was actually quite useful for the LSI since I was making my own tools). |

Yeah I've ordered some from Ebay too as there didn't seem any other choice, then about an hour later I was told that you can use ATF chips instead? I don't know what the difference is or which is better but you can still buy them new supposedly. It might be handy for future builders to know.

Hey man I sent you a message a while ago about buying a board, didn't hear back but just letting you know I'm still interested.

If you're struggling with sourcing boxes I could buy a GBA1000 PCB from Ebay (I've been told they're fine) but I'd really like some Video Hybrid PCB's either way?

Are these parts compatible? they seem to be easier to obtain.
ispLSI1024-90LJ - same as 60LJ but rated at 90mhz? uPD42102 (PAL version of uPD42101) - the only difference I can see is a higher maximum word capacity? is it simply a buffer memory or is there a frequency element? Also, why does the NE564 need to be soldered? I've seen people socketing it but the locator guide emphasises soldering it.. Last edited by Mick; 02 March 2018 at 20:30. |

I almost have my board complete! I was able to figure out programming the GAL's but I do not have much knowledge about the lattice 1024. My MiniPro program software does not have a template for it.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to program these chips? I have 3 of them. It would be nice to program all three. Need to know what software and interface are needed. Thanks! |
