I personally find it hard to understand the celebration of the defacing of art. However, each to their own I suppose...
I think you can draw similar lines here with graffiti on public property. Taken on its own, graffiti is widely considered an art form, i.e. when properly used on dedicated space. I guess if you didn't damage games with these cracktros, they would also be a divergent art form. I'm not going to try to answer the question of "What is art?". But to me, it is certainly not the damaging of other art. |
