This really is a nice site and a nice idea..
it brings back fond memories and would be an excellent partner to work with CAPS to provide the 3D boxes within the caps release Do you do requests if so can I you do the boxes for: Captive SWOS Yo Joe again.. nice |

It's part of CAPS for a long time by now
The models will be separated downloads for various reasons and probably the final versions will be generated scripts. |

@Mache: To bad that the vrml files are so badly written (sorry... ) that they only work with blaxxun Contact. You have defined the faces incorrectly... I have made some 3d boxes from pc games, if you need a sample vrml file that works with all plug-ins, let me know!

@RCK
thank you! oh, i didn't know about that irc topic... i will think about some previews! @bippym yes, caps is working on a way to display the included box scans in a 3d viewer. a caps member told me that they wanted to build this feature sometimes, so i decided to make some boxes for online viewing. @WindowsKiller pm habe ich erhalten, arbeite daran |

This is not Real anything but I've uninstalled the viewer after looking at the boxes in case some spyware or bonzigaymonkey might pop up (knowing that uninstalling won't help anything)

Well done Marc & WK!
I have sucessfully tested the new models in: Blaxxun Contact Cosmo Cortona Which I think are the only commercial grade VRML viewers on winblows (?). All work perfectly! ) I also tested with (ahem) rather high resolution scans, and found that Cortona does not like very large textures. Only the top and the bottom of the boxes are visible. I will mail them and see if they plan to add support. Cosmo and (obviously) Blaxxum Contact still work fine still though! Again well done! |

Well, I waited for ages, but nothing. I then uninstalled, and tried the Cortona 4.1 beta. This worked fine.
After your suggestion, I uninstalled 4.1 beta and installed 4.0 again - now they come up with no delay at all! No sure what I did, but I turned on "wait for resources" just in case... Anyway, it great to see they all work perfectly now! (Even though Blaxxum Contact blows the competition out of the water and everybody should just use that ) |
