AMOS WHDload..?

I know that Amos is quite powerful and capable, -but-
It isn't very os- friendly, and causes some problemsin expanded Amigas..
So, would it be possible to write a WHDload slave for Amos (any verson) ?! :-)

i dont think you really need it, although it is something i've considered.

The only hardware that i find AMOS doesnt like is graphics cards, and i'm told you can get around that by using the Intuition extension and opening your AMOS screens in that.

You may still have to code on a non-gfx card machine though, i dont know.

macce2, are you talking about Amos or Amos Pro?

Amos Pro works fine on 040 / 060 and gfx card machines.

I know he is using and having trouble with Easy Amos, so I suspect he is talking about that.

Viddi, apparently some GFX cards do cause problems with the different versions of Amos, maybe not all, but there are some, apparently. :P

@viddi

I decided to install AmosPro and yes, it works, but I'm afraid I can't use any graphics card (or even Aga) screenmodes ?

Yes, AMOS is ECS only.

But you could take a look at these aminet entries:

Ahh, okay. Didn´t know that.
It works fine on my PIV, though.

viddi - AMOS Pro displays fine on AGA machines, you just cant set up AGA screenmodes with it. (and the AGA extensions are poor)

I run it on my A1200/030
