The adf of the CUAmiga version is working in turbo mode under UAE, so POD has probably started before any WHDload setup got to the Workbench screen at all.

Not on my setup, I have custom bootmenu that launches games in 3 clicks

My usual reason for whdload is score saving & other enhancements, but of course POD whdload does neither, so there is not much difference other than 'force of habit'

I know you are talking about WinUAE users, and that's not my case.

But I don't load Workbench at all on my setup, I boot eveything from the CLI, it's a lot faster this way, even if I have to use the keyboard

Yep, I will be giving it my best shot tonight... I'm not sure I will make 3m, but hopefully I will claw back a couple of points and bump up the EAB average!
