Xenon 2: Megablast music question

I know that Bomb the bass famous song from Xenon II should be originated in Assault on Precinct 13 movie soundtrack. Regarding this article in HOL:

Quote:

TRIVIA: The theme tune is David Whittaker's rendition of 'Megablast (Hip Hop on Precinct 13)(7'' Mix)' by BOMB THE BASS, taken from the album "Into the Dragon" © 1988 Rhythm King/BCM Records.
BOMB THE BASS's album version of "Megablast", in turn, is a remix of the soundtrack from the 1976 motion picture "Assault on Precinct 13", composed and directed by John Carpenter.
I watched mentioned movie yesterday and there is nothing that would remind me Xenon II theme. Except few tones in the intro tune - is that trivia is talking about?

Bomb the Bass took the main 'hook' from Assault on Precinct 13 and used that as the basis for their tune.

Back in the 80's, it was rare to remix an entire tune, sampling and taking many parts of different songs was what people were starting to do, Bomb the Bass, S-Express and a load of other British groups all doing it.

Problem was, lots of groups were sampling peoples stuff and not getting permission, so obviously Bomb the Bass's lawyers suggested that to release their record without acknowledging where it was inspired from would likely get them in trouble, even though other than the 'hook', theres very little left of the original John Carpenter tune to worry about.

That's the bass 'hook' that Bomb the Bass 'borrowed' and slightly modified. Another (in)famous example is Rick James' 'Superfreak' which was used in McHammer's 'Can't touch this' and later he got credited as a 'co-writer'.

Actually Bomb the Bass stole a modified sample from The Splash Band. It's not their own remix from the original soundtrack.

Didn't Utah Saints also rip the guitar riff from Slayers 'War Ensemble' and use it on 'I want you' which was made into an intro for Burning Rubber?

OMG. Lyrics to Megablast :
Don't touch that dial!

"Track fifty nine, zero four thirty hours..."
(do filme Apocalipse Now)

There have been mixes and dance tracks
put together in the past
but none can outrun
or equal the power of Megablast

(vários samples de Buffalo Gals do Malcolm McLaren)

"Ah yeah! Check this out!"
(sampleado de Here We Go do Run D.M.C.)

"Is that him? Could I be right? Could that be Kid Dynamite?"
(sampleado de Jimmy Walker, do album 'Dyn-o-mite')

Thanks for turning it up, buy it for the...
hip hop, Kid Dynamite

(samples de Buffalo Gals do Malcolm McLaren)

All this scratching's making me itch
Hey, kick it, check it out,
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (x2)

"Say turn it up!"
(sampleado de Bring The Noise do Public Enemy)

Could anyone put together the exact lyrics of Xenon 2 remix? I can understand only few words.

That sounds just like the music from the Atari ST version of Jens Wersteins Ice and Fire the Wizards, music around the 1:00 minute mark:

This IS the version from which Bomb the Bass stole the sample. Though it's a slightly updated remix (New Scratch-Mix) from The Splash Bands "The End (Disco)".

The original Carpenter Soundtrack Remix Album.
