Board Games conversion.

Out of curosity, what where your favorite board game conversions for the Amiga if any. Or which ones you wanted to be ported (don't know if that's a right word in this contex )?

I remeber playing Star Trader back when I was a teenager. I recently got back to board games and I'm a big fan of "Settlers of Catan". There is a java version somwhere on the net but I'm not sure whether it works with Amiga browsers. There's also an XLive version.

Civilization, no contest...

I think we just got the only two, depending on what you count space crusade as.

Surely Space Crusade does count? After all, it was a board game, and it was ported to the Amiga...

There were a couple of Risk conversions (shareware I think).

How about Monopoly? Scrabble?

And was Hero Quest a board game conversion too?

I haven't played many, but I liked Space Crusade alot. It had great, tense, gameplay. Hero Quest was pretty good too.

Maybe the games that are conversions of board games should be listed as such in the conversion hardware in HOL

There are also open source freeware conversions of the obscure board games "Africa" and "Saga: Age of Heroes" at Aminet.
