Help put a name to this game

I remember playing it as a demo I think, and basically it was similar to chaos engine in that you had 2 players on the screen at once, shooting at the enemies and so.

Can someone help name some of the similar games or show pics? Have been dying to play this for years and years.

It's hard to tell from such a vague description, but it could be Total Carnage.

Hmm thanks but these games are all too "cartoony" if you know what I mean. Too many colours.

The one I played was more graphically realistic + metallic

Can you remember anything else about the game? A more detailed description might help us

Well as far as I remember it did not have any sci-fi content, and the guns were "normal". It was a two player game, so you'd be fighting on the same screen as on chaos engine. The graphics were sharp and realistic as I said, meaning it wasn't so soft or cartoony.

That's about all I can say :[
