Hi, I have offered assistance if you'd like with this project, I've laso noticed some small optimizations that can be made to the code you attached. As for the speed of VB for what is planned it is more than fast enough, I developed a small demo using fmod for the music and just using the api for gfx, with 3d wireframe objects, scroller, starfield etc. and had the most issues getting it to run slow enough on a p3 500 ;o)
