Porting to Tiny Core Linux and Puppy Linux
I'd like to thank for the FS, it 's special. Can I ask if there is any
possibility of porting it for very light linux distro as Tiny Core or Puppy? cheers lorenzo |

Hi, I don't see why it shouldn't be able to run on these distributions. There's probably no need to make any source changes, but you (or someone else) needs to compile FS-UAE.
If all dependencies are installed (libraries, gcc, gnu make) it is as easy downloading the source code, extracting it, and run "make" (http://fengestad.no/fs-uae/compiling) I cannot myself provide official binaries for all Linux distributions, but if someone maintains and publishes binaries for e.g. Puppy Linux I can add a link to the download page. |
