Deluxe Pacman v1.7

Does anyone have the AGA and ECS archives/ADFs for this version of the game please? I can only get hold of v1.6 and we need the newer version for the Games League next week.

I uploaded my version. I don´t know if it´s 1.6 or 1.7, because the readme is lost.

Good luck!

Yep - that's spot on - well done sir! Thank you!

That's the AGA version - now we need the ECS version, should anyone have it...

I've just remembered I have the two archives that are supported by the whdload install:

DeluxePacman_E.lha & DeluxePacman_A.lha

And apparently these are versions 1.6 (according to the whdload readme).

I was pretty sure I got them from the creator's website as well (before he was asked to remove them) so I presumed they were the latest.

Is 1.7 definitely 'legit'?

Oki doke......time to put all the speculation to rest. Deluxe Pacman V1.7 exists in ECS as well as AGA. The final versions (V1.7) released were freeware that were regged to Edgar M. Vigdal himself. I've just upped both versions to the Zone in one archive, which was taken from the Beavis #5 CD. I'm sure a few of you here have the Beavis CDs including this archive, but unfortunately it was mislabelled as V1.6. Apparently, V1.7 made it on to the Aminet Set 6 CDs too before Vigdal and Aminet were both asked to remove it from their websites:

Anyway, I imagine it will make it on to DamienD's HD/USB stick soon enough, so it shouldn't be such a hassle to find in future! Enjoy!

Fantastic - thank you very much for this

I even posted in the second thread you linked to there - I can't even remember posting that... in fact I don't know how I was going to try 1.7 with WHDLoad when I didn't even have it
