Kick Off CD32 Collection 1.2 [Updated 21/07/2016]

UPDATE 21/07/2016. Uses the latest version of CD32Load for improved reliability on real consoles, otherwise the same.



Now out!

What's changed since the original release:
  • NEW games - Dino Dino's "Player Manager" and Steve Screech's "Player Manager 2" are added for good measure
  • Uses JOTD's "CDLoad" utility for all but Kick Off / Extra Time for quick loading, joypad and SX32 support
  • Kick Off / Extra Time uses latest (free) WHDLoad for SX32 support
  • Vanilla Kick Off 2 now includes World Cup 90
  • Games that have additional CD32 Pad support:
    • Kick Off 2 (Series)
    • Kick Off 3
    • Goal
  • Games that have basic text documentation
    • Kick Off / Extra Time
    • Kick Off 2 (Series)
    • Kick Off 3
    • Goal

Btw is KO3 the AGA version as you said it required a keyboard to start in the last release notes?

I made a mistake with the original release notes. What I should have said is something like

"Kick off 3 is the original ocs version, we did not include European challenge ocs because keyboard is required."


Kick off 3 is still the ocs version in our compilation, but has additional gamepad support so you can call the pause menu during a match.

Ok no worries, Wembley Int Soccer is a much better side on footy game anyway i don't think i would play the 3rd very much, K.O 2 all the way!

earok when you're talking about registered whdload you're talking about free whdload 18.2 right? (no longer needs a registered keyfile)

Sorry, yes that's what I meant, latest whdload without keyfile. The main reason I've included that is so people with modified CD32s can play (whdloadcd32 only works on stock cd32s)

This is great stuff, but I have ask, how is game-save handled on stock CD32? E.g. progress and tactics in Player Manager or saving goals in Kickoff2.
The 1k mem is obviously rather useless..

We can't unfortunately if there's any demand we can look into seeing if it's possible to save to an analogic drive or the like

Out now! It's the same as the previous "release candidate 1" release so if you've downloaded from this thread before, no need to do it again.

Edit: Haven't yet had the opportunity to test on a real CD32, please let me know if there are any issues!
