Frogger compression might look familiar
I was watching some reverse-engineering videos on YT, and came across this one today about a 200x version of "Frogger" on PC that people are still actively modding... with a particular focus on the compression used.
People familiar with Amiga packers will probably spot it right away... [ Show youtube player ] Incidentally, the game seems to have been coded by ex-Amiga coder Tim Closs, with music by Andrew Barnabas (Nightshade/Crusaders, Ecstasy, etc) so I guess the choice of packer isn't that surprising |
