Yes mai I have already used 1.2.
The game works ok but theres a graphic problem where you go through the door where the creature is at the top of the sandcastle i have tried loads of different settings but its still the same. I have got working perfectly up to now 2500 amiga games but this one is one of the hardest to perfectly emulate for some reason. |

According "Bitworld" there was also a "BS1 - TKT" release, but unfortunalety i dont own both, neither the mentioned release nor "Defjam Compact".
I have two different "Compacts" which contains "Bonecruncher" game. To the zone? |

I have uploaded the CCS version (not from a Defjam/CCS compact disk) to The Zone!. It works without problems for me, tried with Kick 1.2 and 512k chip/512k fast.

bone cruncher
Thanks for that guys it works perfectly now for the ccs action replay version but not the (lfc-aha) version which i was trying to get working fully because of the title page which is on it.
i still would not mind the original version though or a version thats got the title page on it. anyway thanks guys. |

mike the copy Bone Cruncher (1987)(Superior Software)[cr LFC][h A-Ha][t LFC] with the title screen seem to work if you use the Toni's Quickstart preconfiguration for A500 with 1.2 ROM OCS Agnus 512 chip kb chip 512 slow RAM.Select this configuration from GUI

Does anybody happen to have an original dump of this game ?
I was bidding on this game a couple of years ago but I was sniped and lost the auction just before closing time and unfortunately I haven't seen the Amiga version for sale since, is it really that rare ? |

I've just tried to run the different adfs and none of them seems to be working.
ccs version: game runs fine, but has no titlescreen lfc version: game has titlescreen, but there are graphic errors in-game bs1-tkt version: game has titlescreen, but does not run (have tried lots of configurations) Does anyone have a 100 % complete, working version? |

Unfortunately no 100% version exists.
BS1-TKT version do run but it has the same cut scene graphics errors as Lightforce version. http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=1276310&postcount=4 |

Hmmm... in that case, maybe it'd be possible just to transfer the titlescreen to the ccs cersion to load before the intro?
I tried a few levels, and everything else seems to be left intact on the ccs disk, haven't been able to finish the game yet, though. Really like this little ugly game, from the weird music to the level design... |

Another game restoration project.
I've taken the challenge to make this game complete and working in every Amiga. It proved to be complex for several reasons: - designed exclusively for KS1.x, chip only and bare 68k machines; - the game mix system code and direct banging, but in the bad way, tampering systems structure expected in some specific memory location and write data in fixed locations without allocate; - all the timing is performed with CPU delay and graphics glitch everywhere; - the only in-game working version (no intro) is an imaged Action Replay file that requires a mandatory real KS1.2 ROM; - the two cracked and complete DOS files versions (based on the same version) are bad and with corrupted screens; - eventually no original available.. So there are good reasons whereby no proper version arised till now.. After two weeks and a massive code rewrite i've now a working version (in beta stage). It includes a proper trainer (existing trainers are incomplete or not working), with level selector. Beta testers required, PM me. |

Just gave level 1 a quick go in WinUAE (A1200 4mb quickstart), no issues whatsoever.
Will do some more extensive testing on real A1200 (030) later when I get some free time. |

Looking forward to final release |

Ross, would you consider adding a quit back to Workbench key while you're at it ?
That way no WHDLoad slave would be necessary as it runs flawless from WB in its current state (except F3 & F5 that is) and since no original is available (and probably never will be). |
