ADF Files -> Amiga 500 on a XP machine
Hi Everybody,
I finally recieved my newly bought Amiga 500! But was so unlucky, that almost all of the games with it didn't work :-(. Now I've downloaded some games from the internet, can I play then on my Amiga 500? I'm using a computer running WinXP. There are a number of ways to xfer files to/from a PC and Amiga.
1) Use a null modem serial cable connected between the serial ports on the PC and Amiga. 2) Use a parallel laplink like cable between the Printer ports of the PC and the Amiga. 3) An Amiga 500 Network card, these are very hard to come by so you may not want to pursue this route The cheapest is either the null modem or the laplink cable. Check out this site if you want an all-in-one kit for easy hookup. http://www.amigastuff.co.uk/parts.asp?s=ca&sub=G1 |

Thanks for the reply. I've now ordered the Amiga-PC link set. Now I'll just have to wait ;-)
