this collector has told me something very important, "Some games will never be on ebay
because they will never be sold to anyone, they STAY in private collections".

There is just a little exception, he allowed me access to any of his games whatever they are rare or not.

the team that has done the shortgrey has nothing to do with ALCATRAZ andreas,

the team that has created the game has nothing to do with them. It's specified in the

manual of the game ^^

VideoKid, Bat french, darkseed french and monkey island 2 FR are dumped.

I will dump soon Moonstone too, the game is on its way to my home ^^.
(BTW i have the PC version too). FirstSamurai is in english, but it's the version distributed in france.

I have some links to have sealed games ^^. first Samurai and Video were
sealed, i opened the plastic bags and dumped them. ^^

About Shortgrey, i have erased the virus from the disks 0,2,4
and replaced the errored files caused by the saddam hussein virus. I'll dump it like it is.

Umm... I guess you mean you deleted it from a copy and not the original disks?

I have cleaned my original, as the game is not correctly working if not cleaned and
errored files replaced. Now the game is fully working 100 % and virus free.

My version like the collector version is the Version 2. The version 1 has Ebola virus on it. sounds strange anyway.

Eeek. Okay. Did you dump it before you did that? I'm not sure if I downloaded it or not. If you have not already, don't worry about dumping it.

WHAT??!

Sorry, but I MUST see a manual scan to believe this.

Pascal Arn is PGCS/ATZ, and did the graphics.
Grégoire Dini is Greg/ATZ, and did the sound.

Only Jean-Christophe Jacquet (JCJ) is NOT from Alcatraz, this is true.
But there must be Alcatraz members be involved, as there is also an advert of THIS game in their 5-disk Odyssey demo!!
I will even bother to dig this one out again to show you!

Hehe it is straightly stated in the manual "the intro on disk 0 has been by created by
alcatraz", the demo team and programming team are clearly stated apart.
I think the manual was written by the programming team, and if Alcatraz was the whole team then they shoudn't have writing this in an unpersonal form. Like if the intro
was created in a totally seperate way.

@ Fiath : Just something to ask, what is the default name of the character in BAT when launched at first ?

The dump for french version is done on a copy for which the guy have saved on 2 external disks. save disk as disk 3 and B.o.b. program as disk 4 so how many chances do i have ?

Thanks.

ok no problemo andreas, here it is ^^
First accrosoft adress :
"Accrosoft editions, 52 rue d'Ă©merainville. 77183 Croissy-Beaubourg TĂ©l: 64.30.82.78"
Now the credits :
THE
SHORTGREY

Project manager
Jean Christophe Jacquet

Original Scenario
Jean Christophe Jacquet

Graphics
Pascal Arn

ATARI/AMIGA PROGRAMMING
Jean Christophe Jacquet

Original Scores
Grégoire Dini

VOCAL Synthesys/Fx
Jean christophe Jacquet

AMIGA INTRO
Alcatraz Group

DISTRIBUTION/PRODUCTION
ACCROSOFT EDITIONS

As you can see, the game is edited by a FRENCH editor as the adress states, and
Alcatraz is only credited for the intro. The rest is mainly the work of Jean christophe jacquet.

So do i have convinced you ?

By the way i'm currently doing transfer to do the upload on the SPS server. ahah ^^

the shortgrey with virus on is in the folder 2005-01-17,
in folder 2005-03-07 AV8B Harrier Assault is not processed.

upload of all the games has begun. hin hin hin hin ^^

i have scanned the moonstone main page manual ^^ as a proof of owning ^^

here is the manual scan

Stick out tongue

First thing: PLEASE, COULD YOU EDIT YOUR POSTS instead of posting 6 (!) in a sequence? This is a huge pain to read. Thank you very much.

Not even remotely.
Jacquet did PROGRAMMING, but Pascal Arn aka PGCS/Alcatraz did graphics. Programming (i. e. assembler, C and/or AMOS (?) hacking) does not involve graphics, nor does it involve sound, hence PGCS' graphics were used in the Amiga version too.
So Alcatraz members were involved *both* in the intro *and* the production of the in-game stuff.

And Original music = Gregoire Dini, this is Greg from Alcatraz too. Music both in game for original hardware and for Amiga conversion.

No, close but no cigar, sorry.

Great stuff!

BAT - which version do you mean, the one you uploaded or an IPF one?

i mean for the english version, what is the default character name, it's to fully verify
if the french version i have uploaded is 100% correct.

I hope by the way that you will be able to check and tell me which dumps are good or
not.

thanks ^^

I've added that to my list.

I can tell you which dumps are good, but that is likely to take far more time than I have at the moment. I'm still not even quite keeping up with our email.

I might write a tool which does some batch processing of uploaded dumps, calling the analyser on each one. This will help loads in doing what you ask. This should help dramatically with processing this stuff.
