HTML datatype?

My OS3.9 machine can't seem to launch IBrowse automatically when I try and view an HTML file, it says something like 'no browser installed'. It's probably because I removed the default 3.9 browser (AWeb). I guess it's some kind of datatype issue?

No, you just need to adjust your DefIcons prefs so that html docs are now opened by Ibrowse.

If you have OpenURL installed then read the docs and change the browser in Prefs/OpenURL.

Bugger didn't help. I found the HTML datatype (under prefs) and updated it to point to my IBrowse exe (was set to AWeb) and rebooted. Then I found an old HTML file and tried it but it didn't work, after looking at it's icon I saw that it was still set to point to AWeb so I blanked it out but it still didn't work. Maybe this only works for files you install after you set the prefs?

It will only effect files that don't have an existing .info (icon) file.
