CPU heat sinks

I am currently trying to find heat sinks and fans for my 040 and 060 boards. I do have a couple where it heat sink clips on to the CPU. All of the cpu heat sinks that I have been able to find are all for pentium 4s all of which are huge and require attachment directly to the circuit board.

1) are there any that just clip on to the CPU any more?

2) if there are none available anymore, can you attach a heatsink and fan through double sided tape?

3) is there a special type of tape that you use?

4) in my search I have found this
http://cgi.ebay.com/TEC1-12706-91-2W...item5adc7533c5

has anyone tried these to cool CPU's How well would it work?

5) I was wondering if anyone has ever attached a temperature probe of some sort to the CPU so as to give a digital display of the CPU temp on the outside of the computer?

Thanks.

You can buy self-adhesive ones.

These are of course not local to you, but it gives the idea:

With a quick googling I could find at least some 50x50 mm clip on solutions.

IMO try to adapt from notebooks - broken - corrupted notebook especially with modern CPU is equipped in really advanced heat sink (mostly very flat with heat pipes).

Thanks.
There is a substance called thermal tape, I got some off Ebay for about $3 + PP, ideal for any older style CPU mounts.
