WinUAE 3dVISION incompatibility?

Hi Tony,

First, thanks for your great work.

I am testing last winUAE release.

I use by default 3Dvision activated on Win7 64

But it's not supported in uae...

to switch off 3dVision i have just to press 'Ctrl+T' if game or D3d application don't support correctly 3Dvision mode.

But in WinUae Crtl+T works but 3d vision mode is all times reactivated if:
- I enter in menu using F12
- there are screen mode swap (by exemple: RTG to PAL mode)
- I enter in WHDLOAD (=>pal mode)
- I leave whdload to return on WB (RTG mode)

So i must all times press Ctr+T to switch off 3Dvision Mode

Think you it will be fixed in futur release?

regards
Bertrand

PS: i can't stay in 3d vision mode because Winaue are not compatible (image for left and right eyes are différents by exemple when if i open a window in the WB)

I don't think there is nothing that WinUAE can do, it won't and can't know anything about 3D support, it is completely done by the display driver.

Can't you add winuae.exe to some kind of exception list or something?

I have try to use 3d special parameters in NVIDIA control Panel for winuae. It's work, i can affect special display options but it seems not possible to switch off 3D vision mode for one application

I can only shut down 3d vision for all 3d applications.

I have not found how to use exception list for 3d vision

@CFOU

I have 3DVision with my GeForce also and I also have to either have 3D or not for all games and use CTRL-T to turn it off. Not much of a problem as I generally leave it off unless I'm playing Skyrim or Lego LOTR

I use 3d vision for 3d film and 3D game by default.

I use also 3d vision mode for some 2D games (using 3d renderer) as Shank, braid, hell yeah!!, rayman norigins etc... indeed curiously on my monitor (Asus VG278HE) games have very smooth scrolling as on CRT monitor but not in 2D mode !!!! I must swith on 3d vision mode

it's curious because monitor use 120 hz mode but only 60 ftp by eye....
Perhaps in 3d vision mode respond time or refresh delay are more quick....

ps:
i am playing to Shank + X Arcade tank=> it's awesome
Have you same effect for 2D game using smooth scolling?
