Digital Overdoze - Another Disk collection

I have got permission by the author to publish another disk dumping project, in this case completely finished and available:
http://homepage.hispeed.ch/alien/
On this page you can find the torrent file and detailed background information.
Important:
Please note:
Quote:
There were many Quarterback backupdisks which I imaged and restored.
Many restored files are *.lha, *.dms etc.
If you go through them, please provide some notes in the below shoutbox
(about the filename and its real content), as it's too much work for a single person - thanks!

is there a list of the content, some index file?
if not, can someone just create a 'ls -laR' or tree /F - recursive directory listing?

I was just thinking that a separate "Collections" forum area might be in order - so many happening recently and i'm guessing many more will be inspired to do the same...

That's a very good idea Sin

...only RCK can make this happen though.

Drop him a PM and if you like, say that I totally agree with this (not that my opinion really matters)

Great

...and if RCK agrees I'll then move all these new, cool collection threads under "said section" where it's easy for all to find

Thanks, I would recommend to create a folder in
/Commodore_Amiga/Collection
called "Personal Collection" or similar, since it is not a BBS backup!

I downloaded Utorrent last night and got this in about 40 minutes, I left Utorrent running for a few hours seeding until no one was taking anything anymore. and I have just remembered to start Utorrent again so its now seeding and is active, its been a long time since I downloaded a torrent but I will keep my seeding alive while my laptop is on generally from 9 AM to 9 PM.

OK. I used qBittorent 4.0.4 and waited ~25minutes but nothing happened...
In the status field it is written : "Missing file".

I really enjoyed the fact that the entire process for getting those disks is fully documented.
It will surely help out any other generous soul out there with more collections to share.

It seems is fun time all over again with our Amigas

Thank you to all involved in one way or the other!
