The KF streams will hold the exact data sampled from the disk to make a working IPF (providing the dump was made from an unmodified working disk) but I don't think CT RAW images can fully represent some of that data resulting in a non-working image! My copies of Hellfire Attack, The Plague and Garrison II for example, won't work as CT RAW images as they can't generate working protection tracks, so not all protections/formats can be represented in a CT RAW image!

There is no other protection. And once you check how the protection has been implemented it's quite clear that the coder didn't really have an idea how proper protections work.

No offense intended, I just thought it could be a good idea to have some kind of spoof protection that even has debug symbols in it and hide the real one but that's probably not the case here
