Should I cry? Amiga 2000CR V4.0 Motherboard

Hello to everyone!
I bought my very first Amiga 2000 but I'm having problems to understand if this revision is good or burned money... what is capable to do?
I was taking a look around and for what I understood, this version was never released due a problems... how is it possible?
Thank you in advance,
Baigomax

It came without the Rom chip, next week I'll get the 1.3 Kickstarter to be able to test it, it seems to be in very good shape. The original power supply is working good, could I perform any test without the rom chip?

It most probably is not a rev 4.0 but a rev 4 point something. There were a number of small motherboard fixes performed on the motherboards at the factory, making them into 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3 boards.

Look at all the paper labels and such? One of them may say 4.1 or 4.2 or something like that. Look at the date codes on the chips.

Thank you for that tip, I didn't realize of this, all chips make reference to 1987 I think, there is not any labels regarding the version so, what do you think about? I put some other attachments here

That really is an early one.

Check here if any of the modifications have been done.
