Wanted: A500/A1200/A2000

Hi Everyone,

I'm on the lookout for one of the more 'common' Amigas (500/1200/2000).

The Amiga can be stock standard or close to it, I'm not looking for a power house, just something to play with every now and then. That said, I don't want to pay a lot either...(i.e. ridiculous eBay prices!)

I am located in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. Please let me know what you have.

Hi Michael, i may have an A2000 if your interested.
It has two floppy drives, cdrom and 2Gb hdd.
I can send some photos if your interested.

I've got an old old A500 that hasn't been used for many years... It has the A501 mem expansion, and I can include an external floppy drive (along with mouse, original psu, and modulator) if you wanted something less "meaty".

Nice looking home page, btw.

Yes, I am interested. I had to sell my lovely A2000 (68040, RTG, OS3.9, etc.) before moving here - that said, I don't want to spend that sort of money on a setup for now, just something to get started with again.

If you have some pictures please PM them to me and let me know what price you would like for your A500.

Hey Michael, sorry for the delay, had to dig it out and take some photos.
Photo's are located here.
It is an A2000 (obviously lol) with 3.1 roms, did have a 2gb HDD but thats died so has been replaced with a 4Gb HDD on a GVP SCSI board with 2mb ram, also has a 4mb ram board making 6mb Fast ram. Will come with a keyboard however this was given to me seperately because i didn't have one and is very dirty and the number 1 doesnt press but the 1 on the keypad to the right works fine. Will also be supplied with a scart but that is video only (no audio cables on the scart). Also a black mouse. The machine was perfect until i moved house when it got a scratch to the side and two small scratches to the top (both shown in pics).
Also as your in the midlands (I'm in Nottingham) if you don't mind travelling to collect i can also give you a CM8833-II monitor with it. I would offer to meet half way but unfortunately i don't drive.
I am looking to get back what i paid for it which was £60 plus p&p but i am open on negotiation.
