uh! Sorry, but the files are too big for the board, so I've uploaded them on my web space.

oohh

but it could be funny to know what was written, then I could use it as an italian lesson.
Next time I come to Italy I could say

Che realizza i desideri or something

"Amiga 500 - The computer that realizes the desires(wishes?) of all the family" , if my basic italian is not failing me

And the other one goes something like "Amiga 500 - the most beautiful present there is"

First ad:

Amiga 500 is perfect for daddy: he can combine texts and graphic elements and is able to generate animated sequences. It's what is needed for mum or for who, in the family, loves music: it has 4 stereo indipendent channels and is able to reproduce any kind of sound. It's ideal for who is seeking for a mate to have fun with, with his games all new and always more exciting.

Both ads are taken from "TOPOLINO" (it seems to me), which is the italian weekly of Mickey Mouse.

The price is 1.099.000+IVA (which was at 19% at the time) so 1.307.810 lire, equivalent to 675,43 euro of today (not counting inflation of about 15 years).

I bought mine in 1988 for 900.000 lire wit the modulator, so i guess these ads are older.

Can you tell me which numbers are the ads taken from, so i can do a bit of research at my parents' house?

Yes, you're right. I remembered the good old days. But I didn't use a scanner to scan, I used my digital camera

Akira, your Italian isn't bad.

Ptrchiappe, your English is wonderful, thanks for translating. The "Topolino" is #1671.

Roll eyes (sarcastic) Commodore ads...

I always got annoyed seeing Commodore ads. Commodore & marketing is like M$ Windows & stability: it never worked no matter how hard they tried.
Commodore ads were so basic, devoid of any imagination. They almost literally screamed: 'We manufacture a good homecomputer, please buy it so we can feed our families.'
