The only reason we allowed every game that had been played before to be voted for again was that it was a "new" competition and a lot of people had never played on both the EAB and Lemon leagues. |

Note for WinUAE-users:
Yesterday I tried the WHDLoad-version of Lotus III. And as I remembered it was not as smooth as Lotus 1&2. I played the PC-conversion of Lotus III (just called "Lotus" because its predecessors don't exist for PC) a lot in the late 90ies. The graphics were very smooth - much more than in the Amiga version. But sound and music were awful. After activating JIT (just-in-time emulation) yesterday the Amiga version ran smooth as silk under WinUAE. Now I can play this game like I always wanted it: smooth like the PC-version and with the awesome Amiga-sound. Sometimes activating JIT messes ECS-games up. So I tried the very first race using JIT (super-smooth) and scored 2.834 million. After that I deactivated JIT (and the game was as choppy as on a real Amiga 500) and scored 2.933 million. Considering the fact I screwed up the start in my JIT-try you can see in this game JIT doesn't mess anything up. Quite the contrary - it makes this game perfect! P.S. You have to emulate an Amiga 1200 or 4000 to be able to use JIT... |

Bump
Currently tied at 4-4... also Biscuit asked the Lemon crew to state their preferred game mode so if anyone actually bothers to post then that'll be added to this poll's score. |

I vote TIME but selected CUP by mistake. I've updated poll options to refelct but onviously if you select to see who voted what there will be 5 users on CUP and 4 on TIME.. just so you know I made a boo boo!

So, since it's STILL a tie, shouldn't we post the reasons why we've chosen the option we've chosen and why other's should too?

Yep, indeed if it is Cup that is what will happen...
Right, you're an awkward bunch, aren't you? Brilliantly it's all tied up, and even better - me, Biscuit and mihcael still haven't agreed upon a method to settle it. My initial thought was to have TodaysForgotten choose given that he has double-voting power, but he's seemingly gone missing so that's ruled out. Therefore John would be the next choice as he's second in line, as it were, and he's leading the championship currently too. Or we could let the mods decide, but either way the outcome will probably be the same Will wait until Biccy reappears before making a final decision though... |

Suggestion:
Let's play Easy, Normal and Hard on both Timer and Cup. And then just add the scores by multiplying each Cup-point by 100,000! So if for example one had scored a total of 50,000,000 points in Timer mode and a total of 400 championship points in Cup mode he would have a total score of: 50,000,000 + 400*100,000 = 50,000,000 + 40,000,000 = 90,000,000 |

I don't want to do both, that's far too fiddly and time-consuming. Better if it's one or the other. And it may put people off who don't have the time to play all of them.

I'm guessing John that if you had to choose, you'd go for Cup?

Is there no way we can leave this to random chance?
If not we all know what it's gonna be. |
