Question TFMX decoder - module lenght?

I using WinAMP and TMXF plugin. With the v1.25 one can merge the mdata and create one TFM file (as well, as register these nex filetypes with WinAMP, using v5.35) and edit the subtracks!
See there: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=839427&postcount=37

Now I wonder, if there is some way or tool, that I could useto determine the lenght of the TMFX tune. (before it start repeat itself)

That is what I need to integrate them into the good TFM file, so they can be added into WinAMP list to play - w/o marked the lenght, they just repeat infinitively.

For my Turrican II tunes, I used the mp3 files or rips to determine the correct times (the WinAMP then play all the subsongs, one after another and the lenght is of all the subsongs included) ...

But for Jim Power music I'm stuck. I cannot find any usable mp3 rip, so the only one way will be then to listen and stopwatch the time...?
Or is there any other way?

And the world 2 seems to be currupted or unsupported ... rest if fine, except for the playing time

...any possible help with the times? Just knowing the times would greatly help me, as I'm only interesed in the world 2 and 5 tunes Anyone know how?

Deliplayer is your friend ..
I don't know which version you started from and I can't handle these "TFM" things. Still, all possible musics from all possible Jim Power versions are here:
http://wt.exotica.org.uk/examples.html
Search for "jim power".

Now, duration wise:
MDAT.JimPower title : 4:30 and 1:32
MDAT.JimPower world1 : 2:27
MDAT.JimPower world2 : 1:54
MDAT.JimPower world3 : 2:18
MDAT.JimPower world4 : 1:27 and n/a
MDAT.JimPower world5 : 3:27 and 00:17
MDAT.JimPower ingame : 00:25 and 00:30 and 1:07 and 00:23 and 00:22

hope this helps

EDIT: this is for TFMX_JimPower.lzx. If you need the others, tell me.

Thumbs up

Oh, great! Will do.
Never tried the Deliplayer on PC, sticking with WinAMP

You cannot play these "TFM things" becuase that are combined files (track and sample data merged by the WinAMP plugin to one file) for the linked WinAMP plugin.

And thanks for your help! I quickly (need a little finetuning) created the list of what I like from Jim Power - world 3, 5 and 3 from the bosses songs, while the last-one is kick-ass crazy fast

Gota use it in some super-fast video replay

Thank you very much!

well, the issue, here, is more about filenames than anything else.
this "boss" file is what is called MDAT.JimPower ingame, as such, the duration is as written upwards (1:07 for 3rd song)
as for "world" musics, they are already listed upwards as well.
Unless you meant getting some "MP3" out of them ? In which case, UADE is your friend

TFMX is a two files format, like Audiosculpture. Don't really understand this merged version ... but that's not really the topic.
