Wanted 72 pin SIMM 128 MB RAM
Hi fellas,
I am thinking of upgrading my Blizzard 1230 IV RAM up to 128 MB (32 MB at the moment). What you recommend to me? What I found is here -photo- $29.95 (+Shipping $19.95). But I am not sure if it is compatible with my card (a Live Support Guy from there told me it is). PS. I do not have Fast SCSI 2 DMA Controller. So, this one is not compatible. Thanks in advance. |

Finding a 128MB 72-pin SIMM for a 1230-IV is almost impossible. It has to be a low-profile SIMM otherwise the CPU gets in the way. From time to time, one appears on eBay, usually in the US. When buying a SIMM, make sure that the picture is of the actual item, not a stock photo, and try and judge whether it will fit. Even better, ask the seller to measure the dimensions for you.
