A game near the end
I'm trying to think of one of the last games to be made for the Amiga, although I'm not sure if it was ever released. I'm not even sure what the genre was but I think it was a shooter/platformer. THe only thoughts I can remember about are a tommy gun and for some reason a killer tomato. I think the graphics were quite bright and colourful. For all I know this game might not exist, but now I'm paranoid about it enough to try and find out.

Well, the tommy gun and killer tomato clues make it sound very much like Tommy Gun, from Mutation Software, 1997.
The graphics were certainly colourful. Problems with this suggestion: games continued (continue today) to be released, making 1997 some years prior to the 'last' commercial release. Also the game is not a platformer, but a shooter a la Operation Wolf. Anyway. Elk God, please forgive my amateurish DBS! |

Heh, that's one of the last titles I got via IRC at the time. I felt that was the end, and that I shouldn't wait fro great games anymore
(Cracked by Hellfire at the time, wasn't it?) |

Naah, not like operation wolf, 'cause you see your character.
I think It's more like Blood Brothers or Cabal. Yes, I know, I'm picky, you don't have to tell me . BTW: has Blood Brothers ever been released for the Amiga ? |

It went on longer than I thought then. My father cancelled his subscription a few years before that, so Tommy Gun was one of the last new games I saw.
