How to use real Amiga HDD under WINUAE

Hello. I would to use my real amiga hard drive (A1200/Formated Workbench 3.0) under WINUAE. Amithlon work with this drive but how it make under WINUAE ?

just add it to the IDE of the pc, DO NOT DO ANYTHING on it with partition managers or the XP managment console, open WINUAE configuration window, go to Hardware -> Hard Drives and press the "Add Hard Drive" button... it igets added, configure the rest options if u have to, and boot!

can I format Amiga HDD under WinUAE? My old harddisk is dead and I need to format new one (already partitioned with SFS) - is this possible under WinUAE?

My Big Thanks to Toni..WinUAE is THE TOOL to give my old real Amigas a new lease in life. WinUAE enabled me to copy noisy hard drives, replace drives with CF and also enabled me to copy pre-installed CWB, etc.

Now I am enjoying both Real and WinUAE.

Going back to adding real hard drive, I use a kit called USB to IDE converter where I connect the real hard drive to it (it handles both 2.5' and 3.5' hard drives), and follow the rest as pointed out in the thread.
