3.9 Emergeny disk - WINUAE
Hi All
I'm trying to install OS3.9 in WINUAE. I can mount the CD and view all the files (on my 3.1 installation) but when I try to create the emergency disk using a blank ADF file i get an disk full error. Am missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Richard |

It has been ages since I installed 3.9.. Perhaps it needs FFS formatted disk?

It formats the disk and then copies everything across that it needs, so the disk format shouldn't be the issue. Are you sure you're failing at that stage and not at the OS installation stage? You'll get that error if you try to install the OS to the boot floppy (a relatively common mistake since it's the SYS: assign). The installer also copies over graphics card and IDE drivers, so if you have a lot of these installed instead of just the one you need, you might be filling the floppy with unnecessary files.
