Wazp3D for amigaOS 4.1 and MPlayer

Hello I beg your pardon would be an implementation of wazp3d in the use of mplayer or liveforit-none altivec for a more fluid video viewing using them in some way as an "opengl" driver, or can not be used for this purpose?
Thanks for any response!

osdepot wazp3d beta55.1

I asked wazp3d to see if it was possible to create a type of driver to select at least in the videos an option other than -ao sdl -vo sdl for MPlayer,
here it can be useful to use it with the options listed above.
Here is a sample video
Thank you and sorry again.

Hi thellier, thanks for your reply.
Can there be any further improvements based on your experience to improve the video codec software?

to get more acceleration?
what do you need to work on?
on the software side or is the limit at this point a hardware acceleration?
sorry for the question, and to understand better

This is a beta of Michael Trebilcock mplayer-ssl, he did a great job thank you so much for it.

Thank you.

On real OS4 machines Warp3D/Composition/Nova may be used to resize the display very fastly as those functions use hardware
But on WinUAE-ppc it will not add extra speed as all will be made in software

>to improve the video codec software
I know nothing about video decoding: but i suppose it is the same: whatever you use (inside winuae-ppc) it will not be faster as it will be in software

The only thing you can: For video players that use Composition you can use my Aminet/PatchCompositeTags = it will not be faster but allow to resize the display

Thanks also to Toni for his last beta 13.
I guess it's useless to ask for further improvements, Toni, I'm sorry,
but I only try to improve the side of the OS for everyday use.
But basically I always hope, that something can come out that improves the 4.1
The 3.xx works perfectly for me, even the use of directx 11
Thank you!

Cool new Beta... The song is a snoozer, and those "headphones" look very old-school. I'm digging the new Beta. I'll check it sometimes with some Rush songs or AC/DC. I agree, I'd like to see some new updates for the PPC emulation. Which also benefits 68K; cough, cough, which is what CyberStormPPC uses. Wink!

Hi, AC / DC HACKER!
Yes Michael did a great job.
But I did not understand what you said, I'm sorry :-)
Do you hear the distorted sound?
Or are you talking about a version for ppc?
Hello
