GB Trilogy

GB Trilogy is a new collection that is mainly based on Amiga games that can be installed on HardDisk with their installer or copied directly with or without specific assignments.
The name "Trilogy" is due to the fact that, more or less, for each Amiga games, the PC DOS version has been included (with eventual edition in CD-ROM and original disks) and also for Atari ST (also in this case I have tried those games installed on HardDisk, but they are few and so I opted for floppy games).
Some few Amiga games are, however, available on floppy ADF format because i have had some problem in installation.

In the database the Amiga AGA, PC and Atari ST games have extension "(DOS), (ST) and (AGA)", while all the others files are for Amiga OCS. These games start from 1982 to 2018.

For DOS and ST games there are no problems of startup, memory and configuration that is automatic. For the Amiga version the thing was more complicated because i have to recreate the game as it ran on the model taken into consideration. To facilitate the installation and the start of the game I set for the most ones 1 MB of Chip RAM and 512k of Slow Fast. It is not a binding thing since anyone can change these values ??to try and recreate a more faithful Amiga model.

For the games that are a bit slow I have already foreseen to create faster configurations and that you notice with the writing "FastCPU" in the left column. If you do not find anything it means that the configuration that I have chosen is more than fair and does not require additional acceleration.

In the Final version of this GameBase you find 2556 entries that includes (after update 61):

955 OCS Games
153 AGA Games
433 Atari ST Games
807 DOS Games
121 CD-ROM Games in Extras
2547 Screenshots
51 Adult Games
120 Compilation

in the past when i had only A500, i liked to have an HD to install some games and now there is a possibility to try this experience even if maybe is not the same things (now i have set all 1.3 games with 1 MB chip RAM and 512k Slow Fast).
I knew that some OCS games on HD require more memory than floppy requirement so maybe it is not a bad idea to use 1 MB chip RAM also for kick 1.3 games
However i think to delete original floppy because it is to slow access to games..read manuals, search codes and some games require printing the codes.

unfortunately also this project will be very big in size. I have many GB in Extras like Manuals and some ISOs.

Great fan of all GameBase releases, my best wishes with your project.

i was wondering : why you dont complete the actual Amiga GB 2.0 with HD games ?

because GameBase 2.0 is not mine. In the past i tried to add some script to GameBase Amiga, but i found too many problems, so i decide to create a new database with mainly Amiga games that have their installer script (at the end i copied on virtual hd amiga games that need only to copy from floppy to hd).
Then i search the same DOS and ST games to add. DOS part has very big because many games from floppy has theri CD-ROM edition while on Amiga no a part some games (i insert only Amiga CD but they must have a floppy version).
