Rotoplex

I came across a demo of a puzzle game called Rotoplex on a magazine coverdisk (The One, probably 1991 sometime - but I couldn't find the magazine).

Does anyone know if this game was ever released? It's by The Assembly Line, and the demo is dual format - for both Amiga and Atari ST.

It's not in HOL, and the only mention of it I can find online is in Fiath's copy protected coverdisk thread, and some info about the demo on the coverdisk in question.

Yes, it was The One (mind the pun ), and according to this site, it was in March 1991.

Would interest me too.
I haven't got the slightest clue how to play this.
Please, anyone with the March 1991 issue of The One, do us a favor by scanning in the review from the magazine. Thanks.

The disk is labelled 'THE ONE - APRIL ISSUE' when you insert the disk in WB, so it may actually be from the April 1991 issue.

I just uploaded into "TheZone!" a standard ADF file of Rotoplex (the original one is in extended ADF format but is unprotected), successfully transfered and tested on my A500.

Enjoy !

Nice one Vollldo

...is this different to the 3 level timed demo that appeared on a dual format (ST/Amiga) coverdisk of The One (Issue 30, Mar 91); available on AGtW?

Ignore my question Vollldo...

I can see from the file in The Zone!, "Rotoplex - The One - Issue 30 Mar 1991 (demo-playable)[unreleased][ADF from extended ADF].zip"

Yes it is the same disc, but transferable on floppy or usable with a Gotek / HxC contrarily to the ADF initially posted. I would have been a great one ! You're welcome, my pleasure DamienD;
