Cool gamepads

Have you seen this one?
http://www.8bitdesigns.com/gamepad.html

I think they are not developing them anymore but I will give them a try with an email. They seem pretty damn fine, and I think (I'm not sure) they could be used as CD32 gamepads.

Is it just me or is it a transparent plastic version of a PS gamepad? Not even analog sticks supported? And then had the direction arrows replaced by that thing which should make it easier to play beat em up games with?

You can get those for the PS with black plastic and analog for about £10 around here. And the PSJoy converter works just fine for it supporting everything on it, even rumble.

Ahh missed the part about it being made for 8-bit machines. I quite like the design of the PS joypads so I think it would be quite good to play with on an 8 bit machine.

errrrr... the point being? This is for all those machines that use the atari interface and the most interesting part is the ability to use all the extra buttons on any machine.

THIS IS NOT A PC JOYPAD.

ok? :P

looks cool. I would rather have one of those than my CD32 joypad.

Im suspecting these are converted PC pads or PSX pads... a bit expensive maybe?

The price in the page is 25 dollars. Sounds OK to me...

Oops, bad news on the "Contact" page:

Attention Customers:
As of Monday, December 22, 2003, I have ceased production of new hardware to allow me to spend more time with my family.

I am currently involved in discussions with others to find a new home for the 8bitdesigns.com domain name, and possibly the product designs that I have created. If and when the details are finalized, I will make an announcement to the public.
