I moved to a new house, my Amiga is in a box somewhere in the middle of lots of boxes.

I'll try to find it tonight to give this another go.. do it like Capehorn, play it for half an hour and at least have one score for it

Used the default setup. AI crashes in laps 3 and 29 caused me to advance quite a bit.

20,000 + (218.97 - (2 * 10)) * 100 = 39,897 (no yellow flag)

I knew I would not get to the end because I was consuming too much fuel so during the 30th lap, I often released the pedal !
I ran out of petrol 50m before the finish line
I finished slowly but still crossed the line, phew

Just tried the Buick - even with default settings it is very driveable, even if it doesn't have winning potential.

My best race so far, unfortunately during the two yellow flag periods, I was stuck behind backmarkers who didn't catch up to the rest of the field, so when the green flags came, I was a minute behind the nearest car, so I couldn't make up more places

A very good and interesting game that I wasn't aware of until now.

Same here, it really is.

On PC with 256 colors and voice acting I think Fate of Atlantis has the edge but on Amiga this is the best Indy game in my opinion.

Ranking of Amiga Indy titles:

1. Indianapolis 500
2. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
3. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
4. Indy Heat
5. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
6. Indy 3 Action game
7. Indy 4 Action Adventure

Hmm...this gives me an idea: maybe "Raiders of the Lost Ark" could be a title for the next coding competition?

About the Buick - with the right setup it's actually a winning car:

And slightly more forgiving than the Chevrolet.

Soon we're entering the final lap: 25 hours to go.

Is Indy 4 action that bad? I never played it and couldn't make it work on my current A600 setup...

But to be WORSE than Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade From US Gold/Tiertex is quite an accomplishment

Actually I never played it, but it's the lowest rated Indiana Jones game on Lemon: http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=560

The new Sunday morning session had a huge effect:

On the final stretch steef-online overtakes rexsu and takes the GOLD!
Well deserved with an average speed of 222mph.

rexsu gets the SILVER medal with an also very impressive average speed of 218mph.

After being the leader for most of the round akabei has to be satisfied with BRONZE in the end which still is a huge accomplishment considering the strong participation.

In the team battle Lemon takes the lead 1-0.

Incredible game with physics as exact and elaborate as Geoff Crammond's.
