HYBRIS - What an Amiga Gem!
Hi everyone and welcome to another "Let's Longplay" where I complete another game under 30mins without cheats with full commentary.
This time I longplay the brilliant Hybris on the Amiga (almost without losing a life), a game that could easily be placed in a cabinet and pass as a real arcade shmup, the very game that resulted me selling my ST and jumping over to the Amiga. I hope you enjoy it: [ Show youtube player ] Please feel free to roam around my Retro Game channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcI...EkMlLy-QX5RE0w), I hope you enjoy it enough to subscribe and spread the channel to others that may enjoy it |

Nice. Did the urge to do this come from the thread the other day where people voted for Hybris or Battle Squadron?

Shouldn’t have to record the click button sound but great game for sure
And you are right saying it could have been in a coin-op Did anyone remember Rainbow Art talking about doing a coin-op version of an Amiga game ? Wonder where did this go to? Did it turn up as a prototype in MAME? |

Yeah I felt the Hybris bug when I uploaded this "VS" video, it just happened to be my turn to pick a high score challenge game on the gaming site so I felt what a good time to pick this one,...which I easily came 1st |

Personally, I regard Hybris as the single best game on the amiga, ever since 1988 I got the game. Still playing it at least once a month

Hybris is a great game, but realistically, it wouldn't have been any competition for the arcade shooters of that era.
Compare it to Truxton for example. |
