Greetings from San Diego
Hi all,
My names Brian, from San Diego, CA. First and foremost, what an awesome website, I'm so glad I found it. To be honest I grew up on the Apple IIGS which is probably still my favorite personal computer of all time. Over the years I've seen several fights ensue between Amiga fans and Apple fans both arguing which computer is better. Of course I always stuck up for my Apple. Finally this last week I downloaded Winuae (never having played or really even seen much of the Amiga before). My only complaint is "why didn't I do this 10 years ago", what an awesome machine and sooo many great games! Been playing Fire and Ice, Gods, and Toki this week and loving them. If you guys can recommend other great platformers for the Amiga I'd very much appreciate it. |

Hi Brian, and welcome to EAB!
So, you've discovered the awesome WinUAE emulator. As this is your introductory thread, and also since there is a Retrogaming General Discussion forum here on EAB: regarding your interest in the Apple computer, do you have experience with any of the IIGS emulators for Windows? |

Thanks for the video link, Brian!
Nice, clean collection you have there! BTW, you won't run into any Amiga/Apple disputes on EAB. Many of us here are multi-platformers too. That said, you could just come across the odd tongue-in-cheek Amiga/Atari spat. |
