EAB's Donators Awards 2015
Let's celebrate our EAB's Donators for 2015 !
First, I would like to thanks the 10 members who have subscribed to our monthly donation paypal help. They are the fuel of this board, thanks guys Boulder Dejavu FrodeSolheim Geijer jman Mr.Flibble neoman seuden slaapliedje Tmw2n I don't forget the others Donators !, even if they did not subscribe to monthly donation, they also help us a lot. This year, the most important donations (20€ or more) were made by: brendank DamienD ghosty777 giovanni nogginthenog Overflow Tweeky Finally, the EAB Supporter group is working well, with 1000 per 4000 members with the option active. (this group help us by displaying one advertisement in the header of EAB) However, the number of daily click is now very bad, only 1 per day It's sad because we were at 3 per day at the beginning of the year. But yes, I can understand it's boring to look at those ads At last, I would like to thank you all, for keeping the Amiga alive ! This board would be nothing without all of you |

If you are logged in, the link takes you to the donators list. If you are reading it as a guest, you get to the smilies page.
Question: What kind of reciept can I get for a donation? Just asking because of tax reasons. I need something "on paper" (where PDF would be sufficient). Jens |

Slightly offtopic rant.
First of all, congrats to Rick for such a ginormous effort: 13 years of EAB and counting. Compared to that I'm just a baby here There is some precious technical knowledge here that beats every other forum. Now, people are more and more aware of the nuisance of ad-supported sites, apps and so on. More and more are using ad-blocking extensions. As far as I am concerned, I am not intersted in *any* kind of advertsement (the same way I used to skip them on TV), so I prefer a subscription/donation model coupled with stuff like gadgets or custom Amazon links (they give back something to the website). Heck, you can pull all the money you want from people, just push the right "button". There is already an ongoing crusade against adblockers and reports quantifying lost revenues are popping up. IMHO, these reports are questionable, to say the least, but the path is clear: this business model needs to be replaced or improved because people are fed up of flashing banners and scam sites. Happy Holydays |

Not a regular donator, but still proud I found myself among "other donators" 8 times.

Keep up the excellent work, RCK and long live EAB! *EDIT* Hmmm. since posting this, I'm getting no advertisements showing on EAB's Index page - just the text "Advertisement" Last edited by quahappy; 14 December 2015 at 19:57. |

I honestly didn't know I had to click on the ads to support it, I thought just showing them would be enough.
I'll be clicking on them more often. I just did it in fact |

Just made a donation; I think I've had way more value than I've put into EAB over the years. Thanks!
