Using normal Amiga-floppy drives on Escom A1200

Possible..?
It annoys me that many track-loader games makes the loading freeze.... My A1200 2B Escom has got a Panasonic JU-257A515P drive.
I tried to connect my other A1200's Chinon FZ-354, but it wouldn't even boot to the cracktros. So I moved the RDY jumper to DC on the Chinon drive... Now it boots to the cracktros, but it stalls at the track loader (Pinball Fantasies), just as the other Escom drive. Using the same floppy on my other 1D.4 A1200, it boots to the game.

Any hacks to make this motherboard handle the RDY signal? Or any hacks I can do to the Panasonic drive to make it work with track-loader games? I know WHDLoad is out there, but sometimes booting from floppies makes the charm better... And some very exotic demos/music disks doesn't have WHDLoad installs.
