Can A500 use any Gary chip

So poor old Gary broke his leg. Can I replace the chip with any Gary for my A500 Rev 5, or are there certain ones only that work?

As long as it's the 5719. The 5718 is for the A2000

Note that with some skills, a broken leg can be fixed.

I almost had it fixed but in the end it just made it worse. Where are you based? Not sure the shipping from California would be worth it for you.
