Another Amiga still running a school AC system
New article from today. Or is it the same school as last time? If so they are going to be able to afford a new system soon!

Read about this Amiga 2000 a few years back. I thought that if it was true and still there doing those jobs, awesome!
The article I read explained that it didn't just handle the heating and cooling system but also security too. This is a classic case of "If it isn't broke, then don't fix it!" Why replace it if it is still doing the jobs perfectly? If this computer did or still does exist and the story be true, then if that Amiga ever was to sell on eBay, the sale price would be astronomical !! |

People get very excited for these sort of items and would pay incredible amounts of cash to own it. You got to remember, this is probably the last Amiga computer to be working in a commercial environment!! Almost 3 decades on. You don't see that every day, let alone be able to buy it! If those said items are Amiga related, then do it, you'd be amazed at the gold mine you are sitting on. |

Sort of a fun story, but not really an appropriate task for an A2000 though, is it.
I mean it's hardly a fate befitting a highly advanced pre emptive multitasking multimedia graphics workstation. Running the air con. |

I don't know about AC being too lowly for an A2000. I used my MacBook Pro and Galaxy Note 8 to control my Nest AC. Even they struggle sometimes. That said there are 4 camera feeds coming into the same app, but even the AC portion takes a while to load. Maybe I should get an A2000. |

Good luck figuring out how all of it works, what exactly it all does and re-implementing that with hot breath down your neck from critical systems not functioning. |

I guess if it breaks, it is about time to replace those AHUs, too.
