Ché - Guerilla in Bolivia: Differences of the 1990 and 1992/93 edition?
TOSEC isn't yet correct here:
the CRYSTAL crack of this game is the crack of the 1990 release, whereas the 2000AD crack is the one of the later 1992/93 edition. I've already spent a decent lot of time to figure out what's the difference between those releases, but couldn't yet find any, except: the CRYSTAL release uses an uncompressed executable 'Diario_in' (displays the .film file in s/s1 for the title, using the .mod sound file in :regards), while the one in the 2000AD release is compressed with PowerPacker to save space. Yet all those IFF graphics used in the game are *absolutely* the same, except for the title graphics, as the year is not 1990 anymore, but 1992. But I haven't yet found enhancements of any kind when comparing the two versions. Maybe only bug fixes? Well, does anyone here happen to have a bit better knowledge about war games than me? |
