Multiple video switcher

Hi! Is there a solution out there to switch multiple retro machines like these...

Amiga (RGB 9 pin)
C64 (S-Video)
Apple //e (Composite)
Atari 400 (Composite)

...between two displays such as...

1. Modern HDMI flatscreen
2. Commodore 1084S

Do I need 4 switches, 1 on each machine, or is there any all in one solution?

(I'll be using the XRGB Mini where necessary to convert the S-Video output.)

How DIY do you want to go?

My first thought is a scart switcher, if you look at a scart pinout it sontains most of what you need:

Then my other thought which is more complicated is building your own solid state av switcher like in this page:

https://www.engadget.com/2007/03/13/...-a-v-switcher/

admittedly the solid state switcher might be more complicated and need a bit more thought to add the appropriate channels, but its a starting block

Yeah I'd prefer to go off the shelf. So you're thinking get everything into SCART format, then output from there to both the CRT screen and the TV? Interesting.

I wish there was a switcher than had one of each:
Composite
RGB
S-Video

I just did a check on the internet, it seems to suggest that the C64 is a composite output.

That means you need RGB and composite, both of which are part of scart.

I think off the shelf switcher between 4 sources and 1 scart is easy. you might have to buy or make custom leads, so like the Amiga you can get a scart lead.

Then you need a second scart switcher to switch between outputs and maybe a custom scart lead for the monitor.

One of these for the sources:

Then I was looking at this:

Which is a 2 input version of the same thing, but I was thinking you might be able to mod it to be 1 in 2 output. I say mod it because you can get a scart like this:

Which as you can see has a selector switch for input and output, I dont know what it swaps over, but thats the route I'd take.

Thanks very much! Great suggestion.

I'm also considering SCART and S-Video into the XRGB Mini, as well as some pass through HDMIs, then using the XRGB remote as the switcher. It can generate scanlines too which is a big plus.

Thanks again.
