Fiath I haven't been able to view the website for a while, it's just times out it says: Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable. what's up with it?

I have no problems connecting to the site. Massive read, btw (the WIP). Fascinating stuff, indeed!

Is this the right URL:
http://www.caps-project.org as I can access any other website I try except for CAPS at the moment. I only started having this problem about a month ago so I thought the CAPS project had died. I'm glad I was wrong. |

Hmm, I am not sure why you are having trouble...
The site is actually on a forwarding service at the moment, so instead of the offical URL: http://www.caps-project.org Try: http://homepages.enterprise.net/wilk...ps/index.shtml and tell me if it works! I guess the top-level DNS server you are using has crapped out on our URL |

Fiath I tried another ISP and was able to access your page and found it very interesting. I changed ISP's recently so I guess that's why caused my problem.

All of the answers are in the FAQ. When in doubt, RTFF...

FYI: It is probably going to work like TOSEC files - you will be able to get them - but not from us. There will never be anything available from the site - unless it is a game that was originally written by one of our members - or we have special permission by the original author or copyright holder. Also, these games are *dumped* NOT necessarily *analysed* yet. Apart from other stuff - we need to prove they are verified 100% working and authentic AND enable them to be remastered back to disk before we release them (okay maybe not all until we have perfected a hardware solution to write them). (no releases have happened yet - you will know when there has) |

Actually, it is not too bad as I have automatic responses to some things - and that is one of them. :o)
Once I have (nicely) informed them appropriately, they are normally quite nice. It is the many big questions that come it that take all the time up! I don't mind too much though - it helps me improve the FAQ (which yes, does need updating badly - I have a big "todo" list ;) |
