Lemmings and ED-209 (from Robocop movies) as enemies in Hired guns

And the character Kiurcher has the armor and gun from Aliens movie in the picture in character selection screen.

The ones I remember were from Dark Seed on the gravestones. Reading them put up messages like:

RIP Guybrush Threepwood
etc.

I don't have any screenshots to go with it - I'll try and snag some when I setup the Amiga.

GameOver screen from Shadow Of The Beast appears in the trading screen of Awesome.

btw, Ive would loved an entire Gaunlet clone with the walking sections of this game. It would have been cool. With some puzzles, maps, and alternating the impressive parallax with 32 colours single layer stages.

it would have been a cool Gaunlet-Zelda-Commando game.

There is a statue of Valdyn in Cedric in the City.

When examining it, Cedric says:
The socket says: 'VALDYN'
Don't know this guy.
Looks rather strange.
Kinda hairy.

playing the original Monkey Island the other night, I noticed that one of the reply options when talking to the Sword Master is "I'm selling these fine leather jackets", which unless my memory is playing tricks on me is an Indiana Jones reference
